The Explore Tenerife site is produced by a team that have lived on the island for many years giving our editors and contributors a unique perspective on the many sides of this island.

For many people, Tenerife conjures up images of long hot days in the sun – by the pool or at the beach – followed by equally long nights in the island’s massive choice of bars or restaurants. While there’s little doubting Tenerife is an excellent choice for both, there’s a whole other side to this island that many people simply don’t know.

Our aim is to change that.
